Dr. Aida Tarifa Rodríguez is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst Doctoral level and Qualified Behavior Analyst with over 15 years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis, working with children, adolescents, and adults with disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and brain injuries. Over the past six years, she has held the position of Student Care Director at the ABA Master in Spain. Internationally, she is a member of the Qualified Applied Behavior Analysis Committee and currently serves as the Research Coordinator at the Mohammed bin Rashid Center – New England Center for Children (MRC-NECC). In addition, she collaborates on research projects with the University Hospital La Paz (Madrid) and provides university training at the Universidad Internacional de Valencia (VIU) and the Universidad de Cádiz (UCA).
Dr. Tarifa Rodriguez is the author of the book, available in Spanish and English, titled "Nala and her behavior analyst: Finding My Voice," aimed at teaching evidence-based communication and language strategies to children with autism. The book is presented in a user-friendly format that can be understood by both children and typically developing adults.
Her primary research interest lies in language acquisition and functional communication, encompassing individuals diagnosed with ASD, intellectual disabilities, and aphasia. Nevertheless, her recent research validates the feasibility, effectiveness, and acceptability of a multi-component behavioral intervention package that opens new avenues for effective online postgraduate student training, compatible with social networks.
